Okay so about a month ago i started having this problem. When i would start any game my computer would just restart itself. Now after replacing the power supply in hopes for that to fix the problem it still occurs. Now even if im watching twitch my computer black screens and restarts. My gpu seems a bit hot but doesnt seem to be overheating but that has to be the issue right? I just need any kind of help, Thank you

i forgot to mention that i sent my motherboard to be repaired (broken pins) and msi seemed to send me a refurbished mb (im assuming) so i figured that would eliminate my MB being the issue.

Build:
Intel 5820k
Hyper 212 EVO
MSI X99 motherboard
MSI 980ti
Corsair 750m (new)
16 gb DDR4 2666mhz Corsair Vengeance
Samsung Evo SSD
Sandisk SSD (new nothing stored)

39C right now just on forums and have seen spike up to 64 but thats the highest under loads. Usually chills around 58c

temps seen fine, i heard that card runs hot at idle but nothing to worry about

Also I got some stupid questions

Have you updated your gpu drivers? That could help

That brings me to the next question is that are you sure that jt reatarts or does thr screen just go black. If it does restart I highly doubt your gpu is the problem.

You may also want to try and reset your bios, maybe some bad sertings.

Yea i highly doubt its overheating bc overheating is like over 80c and yes i recently reset my bios trying to fix a different issue ( computer wouldnt turn on due to incompatible psu cables). I actually downloaded the latest drivers from teh GeForce Experience today :/ i know this is something stupid i can just tell. Just like my previous problem.

Just for laughs have you tried it in safe mode or with a live disc to verify that it is a software or hardware issue?

No I have not. Is there a thread or video for me to look at to properly access the problem? I'll be home in about an hour to test
