You never sleep do you? Or maybe time zone?

Either way, with the mod mic, will it be easy to attach to the M220s with its own adhesive or will I have to buy my own adhesive? Also with sound bleed, thats when sound comes out of the headset and leaks into the room around me right? Because if thats the case then I dont really care since I will be using these in my bedroom so nobody else is affected. As long as it doesn't decrease my audio quality I think ill buy them.

Time zone, it is 11:52am here..

Sure the mod mic will work just fine. Yes the sound bleeds out into the room you are in and noise in your room will bleed into the sound.

Hello all, my second or third pair of cloud 2's broke a few days ago and im in need of a new headset. I play games like CSGO and Overwatch and I really need a new headset. My budget is about $100 USD and I was thinking of buying another pair of clouds. But after watching Linus's new video I saw these advertised and I was wondering if these would be better than the clouds paired with a ModMic. Also since I am really new to Massdrop, are the prices of things lowered if a good number of people vote for them to be and then they're lowered on the website for a certain time or is there some sort of catch because I find it kind of weird how a $160 pair of headphones is only $50.

When an item gets enough attention massdrop contacts the supplier and gets a discount usually they place milestones of ex: 10 people bought a phone the price will go down 25% if 20 people bought it 50% (not that high but yea you got my point, when viewing an item you'll see how low it can get and you can commit at the lowest price so if the price reached the lowest massdrop prepares a package for you.) hope I helped and explained it well

@Dackzy You think I should hop on this? Asking you because you seem to be the most knowledgeable when it comes to audio related things.

well if you can live with them leaking sound and if you want to have a different sound signature, then sure. The bigger soundstage will be neat for CSGO.

They will be audio quality jump.

SHP 9500 will not give better audio quality, they might give you a sound signature you like more or less than the M220

I have the SHP9500, very comfortable and I love the sound, pretty decent with CS:GO. I use a NW700 mic through a phantom power supply (cheaperish than a mod mic). They can feel heavy to some (like my brother), or a little big, but if you are used to the Clouds you should be okay.
