Another gaming rig

With a big thanks to linus tech tips and awsome replies from the users I managed to build my gaming rig 2 years back and now I have decided to build a new pc again....

So all the reviews are appriciated

I have decided to go for these specs but with two options in few categories so suggestions on those are needed.

Monitor: lg 24mp88hm

Motherboard: Msi z170a gaming m5 or Asus z170 rog maximus viii ranger

Processor: i7 6700k

CPU cooler: Corsair h100i or cooler master evo 212x

RAM: Gskill ripjaws 2400mhz 8gbx2 or 8gb 

GPU: ASUS strix 1070 or 1080 OR MSI 1070 or 1080

HDD: WD green 2tb

PSU: Corsair VS650 (Is it enough for this build ???)

DO NOT use the VS psu it is really bad. And also why not go with Skylake? 

The motherboard i would choose will be the MSI because its cheaper.
