Ok so im sure you guys will have a good explination for this......

When using google street view, it kind of resembles an fps game, we can look around, walk about (will come back to this) and generally experience being somewhere in real life on our devices.

So why cant they make game graphics using this technique? Ok so its alot of badly put together pictures, but sure they can be alligned perfectly.

Its pre rendered i imagine, but then we can still move around, look around, why cant games have this and have real life visuals?

Ok so when you move backwards and forwards it jumps, but when you zoom in and out on street view, isnt that the same kind of pixel shifting as moving around in a game?

Couldnt they put the interactive objects over the landscape/street and just have those bits as typical game graphics?

Am i being daft? Lol

Because you're on a set course. And on-rails shooters are out of fashion.

Its hard, costs alot, You would have to turn everything into 3d so basically throw away the pictures idea!, in the end its just too time consuming and hard!

I mean for instance GTA5 looks good and it big, but every game will still have the distinguished look between realism and video games, Personally i would hate to have a game exactly like real life then we would be living in the matrix knowing your whole life is a LIE!!!

work it ᕙ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ harder, make it (ง •̀_•́)ง better, do it ᕦ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ᕤ faster, raise ur ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ donger
