Processors and upgrading

Hey so I'm just wondering if upgrading a CPU would be worth it, I was thinking running an i3 6100 for at least half a year,and then upgrading to an i5 6600 or something along the lines. I will be pairing this with an amd rx 470 video card. So overall I was epndering if it should be done. I'd love to here other's opinions and suggestion. Also I'd appreciate it if you guys could recommend me a cheap atx that's compatible. Thanks again.

Id keep the i3 for now. There isn't a huge jump going to a i5

I would go i5, you'll always be looking to upgrade and the price difference is about 100

the Asus H110M-A is a solid mATX motherboard. can be had for about $60-70

You could probably upgrade to the i5 later then resell the i3 for a good price.

Yo in half a year kaby lake should be out. So you'all get a better performing processor at hopefully the same price ^^.

I'd say, get the i3 now and worry about upgrading later. You might find that the apps and games you run work fine on the i3, and, if not, you can get a Skylake or Kabylake i5 later.
