Ducky mini

[Biased Opinion]

Does anyone know when the Ducky mini will be released as i have seen very little about this board. Also what other 60% boards are there on the market, all i can think of poker, pure, GH60, HHKB.

I think it's available with ISO layout instead of ANSI, it was a project headed by Ducky Nordic I think.....I don't think tere's an ANSI layout Ducky Mini.

damm, cant stand ISO after having typed on ANSI for my entire life. If you were getting a 60% now what would you get other that that HHKB in your sig(want one but the price tag is crazy and i would rather spend the difference on metal key caps).

poker 2. its just the ducky mini with ansi and without backlights. if you want backlights on a stock 60%, your only choice is the pure pro (I THINK it has backlights).

The reason I like the Ducky Mini is due to its back light, but ISO isn't for me either. Best bet would be a Vortex KBT PURE if you want back light, if back light isn't a 'must have', then your option is much wider. Look at Leopold FC660M (MX switches) or FC660C (Topre switches), Poker 2, TEX Beetle or a Filco Minila for example. The stock HHKB 2's in my sig have Topre dome/spring hybrid 'switches' and are generally more expensive than stock MX keyboards.Topre isn't for everyone though, so I'd suggest you start off with a good 60% MX keyboard.

There are many other 60% keyboards, too many to list. But if a 60% backlit keyboard is something you want, then I know of only the KBT PURE. I've been told that Poker 2 would come with backlight as well, so I'm awaiting its release.

i really want a poker 2 because i do not want to deal with the arrow keys that the arrow keys that the pure or the Leopold have. Also those aluminum cases on GH look amazing. The issue is that wherever i look does not have them in stock at least in blue switches and i really dont want to go around swapping stems and shit from other boards on that i can have a blue switch Poker. Feng used to have them but all he has left are red and brown switch ones.

That's the problem, if the local keyboard dealership manages to get backlit Poker 2's in before that, I'd be all over it.....the Ducky Mini would be but a memory I'm afraid.

I'm not sure what they would do about the thick pbt poker 2 caps though....I like underglow, but most people like backlights for typing in the dark,

For most touch typists, having a really bright backlight may actually become distracting when typing, especially in low light conditions.

in the computex video you can see the demo model is ANSI. 

still no word on a north american release date tho?
