My LG G3 seems to have died a death over the weekend and I was wondering if someone could confirm if it is indeed dead?

So the symptoms are:

It doesn't turn on when I press the power button. It only appears to boot when I remove the battery for a few seconds and put it back in and power on then the LG logo appears for about 10 seconds like its trying to boot but then the screen just goes off. I've tried 2 different batteries to no avail. And yes they've got plenty of charge. but the strange thing is I don't get any LED lights to indicate the charger is plugged in. If I try a factory reset (Press the power button and volume down) I get the rainbow affect LEDs where they go through all the colours but then again after a few seconds the screen goes off. Help appreciated.
