Graphic Memory

Hi there,

       Hi everyone i have a desperate question that needs to be answer ever since i played GTA V i always want a better gameplay full settings on graphics.So i usually make some tweaks on the graphic setting but my graphic card which is a 2gb 960 palit wont allow me too so what i always thought was if i get a graphic card which is lets say a Rx 480 which has 4gb would it help? Why? Well because if i turn the texture quality to max it eats up 1gb so my point is does a graphic card with alot of graphic memory help?

yes is the short answer because textures are loaded and unloaded into gfx memory....read this link , its a bit old but will explain the relationship between gfx memory and screen resolution
