The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable

I have a lot of photos and things from school in it and I don't know what to do, I tried to change the letter, checking it

On the disk management in windows it says that de HDD is perfectly fine

I don't have any backup. I can't do anything to save it?

How much do you care about the data?

If you want to try something get a program like recuvra https://www.piriform.com/recuva

and see what you can get

If you care about your data sent it to a data recovery place. If not, image it and then try a data recovery program.

I would recommend grabbing hold of a copy of the bootable PartedMagic live CD/USB and trying to access the drive with that.

Chances are, Windows is just really confused and claims it's corrupt when it's not - this happens a lot to me specifically with external HDDs.

What OS did you have on your laptop before?

Was the drive formatted on that laptop originally, or another computer?

If another computer, what OS was that computer running?

How was the drive formatted? NTFS? FAT32? exFAT?

What is the make and model of external drive?

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, 5060 Ti) Mobile: Moto Razr 50 Ultra (Razr+ 2024) | 30GB CAN+US+MEX $30/month
Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 7i (16") 82UF0015US (i7-12700H, 16GB/2TB RAM/SSD, A370M GPU) Tablet: Lenovo Tab Plus (256GB)
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)
