sorry for being inactive, not that anyone noticed lol.

When I say delay, I don't mean the average 10, 20, or even 30 seconds. My viewers are reporting delays of up to 90+ seconds, even 2 minutes sometimes. My bitrate is 3500, streaming at 1080p 60fps, 48khz 128bitrate audio, and my upload on speedtest.net ranges anywhere from 18 - 30mbps. Ideas?

(Also, I didn't bother posting this on obs's forum, just because I've never gotten a reply on any thread I've ever made there lol).

Nothing.

just a quick sidenote, 1080p60 isnt the best choice for twitch if you're doing high speed stuff. it likes to pixelate FAST :P

that aside tho, you could try the -whatever the low delay option is called- option on your twitch settings, and report back what difference it makes.

I've noticed the pixel issues. I've just learnt to live with it, along with my viewers.

I've give the delay option a try tomorrow.

720p 60fps brings a similar issue. Using a 6700k

Nothing.

Well then it must be your OBS settings.

it could honestly be something odd on twitch's end. although 2 minutes is beyond anything acceptable.

I doubt its Twitch, I know few unpartnered streamers and they dont have this issue. I dont think they try to stream 60fps though.

@TheSuspect try 720p 30fps just to make sure. And do 3000bitrate. Im not sure how much bitrate twitch allows for unpartnered streamers.

low delay reduced it to about 40 seconds to a minute, but my mods are reporting crazy amounts of buffering.

Nothing.

this sounds like an issue on twitch's side.

could you just quickly verify you didnt accidentially turn on any form of delay in OBS (it is able to buffer up a preset delay, for something like an MMO stream so people cant stalk the streamer as easy)

and after that.. do you have a contact at twitch to talk to? they may be more of help here than us.

Delay in seconds is set to 0. Setting it to 1 makes no difference. Guess it's time to chat with twitch.

Nothing.

I'm using my gpu, not X264

Well, then try your CPU as the last option. Until u try all possibilities u cant blame twitch as the problem still MIGHT be on your end.
