Hello guys I need some help...

I have asked me if an upgrade from a EVGA GTX 750 TI FTW to a GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC will give me much more fps. I would like to play the latest games like mafia 3 and BF 1 on 1080p which is impossible with the 750, but will be possible with the 1060?

greetings

Michael

Yes it will be possible on the GTX 1060. It will have much higher fps than your 750ti

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

the 1060 was intended to play games at 1080p and it should run those games with ease. you could look up some benchmarks at youtube or google

Thank you guys. I have a i7 2600k OC to 4Ghz and 16Gb ram, so it should handle it right?

the i7-2600k is still a powerful processor but i don't know if there will be possible bottle-necks.

The 1060 3GB or 6GB would do just fine in most cases here. You may have to turn down a setting or two, but that is all.

Some may complain about the 3GB option, but my tests as well as many others only show a small drop in FPS and memory is not a huge draw back on 1080p gaming.
