Should Intel buy Nvidia?

Considering AMD bought out ATI and putting their GPUs into their CPUs their iGPUs are far more superior to Intel's i think it would be a good investment for it to happen what do you think?

NVidia would never do this. The pretty much own the GPU marked (damn monopoly).

That would be nice if Intel had better graphics, but I'm concerned about antitrust laws and that stuff. Also, NVIDIA doesn't have any reason to sell themselves to Intel.

I wouldn't. I mean, you could use it for light gaming, but it'll be a very long time before we see anything where you could really game on it without the need of a discrete GPU.

 

And considering NVIDIA focus on GPU acceleration solely and Intel focus on...well, a lot of things, it wouldn't be particularly reasonable for the Blue to eat up the Green. If anything it would further monopoilise the market, making it less fair for everyone involved.

Intel does have good graphics. Look at the i7-5775C. They're just expensive as shit.

Think i read somewhere that Intel wanted to do a colab you know like a Amd apu but with Intel/Nvidia instead but there was a disagreement in the nagotiations and it fell through

Right now you can use a intel cpu with either an nvidia or amd gpu, or an amd cpu with either an amd or nvidia gpu, and I would like it to stay that way. Not that I have any reason why things might end up that way, it's just that you never know what might happen if things started getting nasty between intelvidia and amd.
