How do I get in!!!!!! I want go now. Now! I want go NOW!

Ok ok all the BS aside I really want to go to CES. I am one of those people that has never been to a concert or even left the city to see a show or anything like that and now I have a steady job so I want to go places but apparently you need to have a lot of credentials for CES. So has anyone here ever been without needing any of said credentials? OR should I just give up?

I am a General manager at a Computer Repair chain in Arizona, They just accepted my registration. But from experience in providing details, Just start a little side business and make it as official as possible. Do virus removals, computer maintenance, Maybe even consultation for someone. Get it all out on professional Invoices. Make a website even for your company, And make a professional Business card.

Simply provide a few paid invoices from different dates, and even generate invoices for work you've done in the past. Then send them scans of a business card with your name and address on it. These credentials will usually verify your industry affiliation, and are the minimum requirement but will easily be passable if they are professionally done.

By no means am I telling you to forge credentials! But fluffing up any tech work you do or have done in the past and putting a business label on it will help.

You will register as a Service Provider or Industry Contractor.

It's a show meant for those who are in the industry itself and not for the consumer. However, as stated it is very easy to get into the event if you want. It also costs to go in most cases. I'm not sure on the price any more as I get invited every year, but I think it's around 75-125 or so? Someone will likely correct me on that.

Must be part of the tech industry to get in. Can't just walk up, buy a ticket and go in. It's not Computex. Anandtech took a screen shot of this receipt at CES a while back, it was really expensive. I think it was a hotdog for $8 dollars.
