Single Purpose Build

Hey peeps!

 

So I'm trying to put together a budget build for the sole purpose of running CSGO on a 144hz monitor, nothing else. In addition I already own a 256 GB Samsung 950 Pro, so M.2 support would be convenient in the motherboard. This is what I got so far;

Any ideas where I could possibly shave off some money? I've looked into the i3-4160, but finding an LGA1150 mobo with M.2 support is expensive(lowest I've found was $75), which forces me to have to buy another unit for storage. Also been looking into a used 750ti 1GB instead of the 2GB, dunno how much performance loss this would cause. Planning to game in 1080p. 

 

Could also use some help with picking a mediocre CPU Cooler that fits in the MicroATX case.

Getting a board with a m.2 slot is going to be cheaper than buying another storage device.

Anyone got ideas for a CPU Cooler? Do the non-K Skylake processors come with stock Intel cooler?

The non k's come with stock coolers but you could always go with the G3258 and overclock the crap out of it.

That's a cheap chip. Will it perform similar? Do you have any recommendations for a mobo to go with it?

It will preform at a higher clock speed but it does not have hyper threading so you only have 2 threads instead of 4. Now that i think about it the 6100 would be a better choice cause you have dddr4 and the right socket to upgrade to another skylake chip down the line.

The Pentium OVERCLOCKED with be better in programs that only use up to 2 threads but if it uses more then the 6100 will beat it.
