Good morning all,

Have a rather simple question that I just cannot remember the answer to.  I upgraded one of my machines from windows 8.1 to Windows 10 during the free upgrade.  I need to go in and reformat that drive.  Can I reinstall Windows 10 or do I need to purchase it at this point.  I know the machine is bound to my microsoft account and I have the iso file burned and on a flashdrive for Win 10.  Should I be starting back on Win 8.1 with my recovery disks I created and then proceed with the upgrade back to 10?

Thanks

If you are totally reinstalling then it should remember that you had windows 10 so it will activate. When you get prompted to enter the key just select "I don't have a windows key". As long as you don't switch motherboards it will work.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

Check out my HTPC build.
