Comcast is back at it again...

So basically all day today (it's about 5:30PM my time for reference) our internet has been out (and apparently our phone as well). The only thing that works is the TV. The only thing you can technically "access" online is the lockedcustomer.comcast.net page which comes up giving you the lovely message at the bottom of this post.

 

So I have to ask: What the actual hell is going on? The only thing I was finding online was the bill not being paid, but my dad hasn't even missed any bills since we got Comcast nearly 5 years ago, so I kinda have to rule that out.

My dad tried earlier on his cell, but our coverage is so crap it dropped after he got to the lovely robot-lady.

 

And ya know, landline = dedline so that's out of the question.

Drive somewhere where there's service? 

 

Side note, you would think they would allow you to call Comcast/visit Comcast pages if they terminated your service (so you could rectify any issues). Is it possible that maybe they're doing a repair somewhere and that's why you're getting that error (maybe their modem defaults to that page if it doesn't get a signal?)

I have a few friends on the same street (one so close I could walk there in a few minutes) and they're having no issues.

Dude you do know Comcast has the IQ of -462. Try going to one of their Xfinity stores if there is one near by. Maybe they could help you  there.

@Donut417 Have some luls at this: They tried remotely updating our modem and they fucked it. Now it works.

Im soo pissed right now. Comcast on November 1st will be capping our data. I posted it on our Cities Facebook page hoping others get pissed. And we can all complain to the FCC.
