DVI-D or HDMI 1.4/2.0 or DisplayPort?

deleted_member_030719

I currently found a monitor that is 144 Hz, and 1080p for $250, but 144Hz is only usable with DVI-D. There is only HDMI and VGA options

I am not familiar with the real-world differences between DVI-D and HDMI. I've also only used HDMI and I have to constantly buy new cords for HDMI because the fucking cords keep breaking where they plug in, cheap pieces of shit.

Is there a major difference between Displayport and DVI-D? In my country, Displayport 144Hz monitors are at least $160 more.

I don't think DVI-D can handle anything above 1080p 144Hz. But if it's 1080p then it should work fine if your GPU has a DVI-D connector.
