I've made a thread about this before, but I couldn't explain it well enough. This situation keeps happening where Window 10 partially freezes. Some parts of the UI are frozen, others are not. It's really weird and hella annoying. The last thread I made about this issue, some guy told me to do a RAM test using memtest86, which I did, and it turned up no errors.

Here's a video of my issue, which should more than show what's going on. Yes I'm going to contact Microsoft about this, but I need to know some kind of fix/hot fix in the meantime.

I'm not convinced that will help, because I've done a clean install before to attempt to fix this same issue, and it's still happening. Plus I want to know *why* it's doing this.

Have you tried sunning sfc /scannow in CMD, disabling startup processes, and monitoring resource monitor when it happens?

Are you using an SSD or HDD? Is it in perfect condition?

The first 3 things I haven't tried, but I will. As for the drives, I have Windows installed onto a new Samsung SSD that I bought a few weeks ago, and my main hard drive with all of my games and programs on it is less than a year old.

The latest version. I always make sure to keep Windows updated. I was having this issue in previous versions of Windows 10 as well.

way too strange, I figured to not be annoyed I used winaero tweaker to disable auto updates, disabled a few other annoyances as well and I installed start is back ++.

Personally I'd remove my ram sticks blow out the slots and put them back in one by one and see how the pc reacts to each stick up until I replicate the problem, if only one stick does the same I'd change the slot and ram stick and try again
