I see, i did not know of this information. My friend recommended it to me.... i guess you can only trust yourself lol! Well thanks for that, time to nuke the hell out of the vlc directories (uninstall, restart, ctrl del everything left behind, my routine!) Could you perhaps recommend a video player that has actually got decent playback? I like windows media player but generally it hasn't many features.

Ah, edited my post a moment too late.

I use kmplayer, which like vlc has decent support for differing video formats, but from what I've heard around MPC-HC is also favored among groups.

Hi guys, this should be very simple, unlike the quadratic equation (that really troubled me many years ago, i thought i would add this here as humor, it wasn't funny? Okay lets just continue shall we....)

Anyway,  i have noticed how vlc media players gives a really ugly grey tint to any video that is played. If you could help me that would be much appreciated.

Here is what i mean, also the game credits go to 'From software' the creators, and 'Bandai namco entertainment' I put this here for obvious reasons lol! Now the image:

As a final notice, i apologize for the horrendous grammar within my sentences. For some reason i am just awful at basic English skills today.

With kind regards Kurt

Welcome to VLC media player.

It has great support for a wide array of formats, but its playback is absolutely horrible.

I prefer KMplayer, but mpc-hc is pretty solid as well.
