Intel Core i5-4460 with GTX750TI  video card 1GB &16GB ram

Hey, what's your budget for the GPU and CPU combined? People might have some other suggestions. Is there a reason for these three other than price?

4690K, 16GB G Skill Value 1666 RAM, Mars 760 X2 Limited Edition, GA Z97HD3, NZXT S340, Gammaxx 400/Hyper 212X (Need Help)

The i5 has the highest processing power in a single core, almost 50% faster - most games to date this is more important than outright multithreaded processing power.

The 950 will spank a 750Ti however, so.... i5 with 950? :P

Probably with those cards, you'll find the AMD's don't bottleneck the card really so you'd be better off with the faster video card.

Having said that, with the faster CPU it would be easier to upgrade the videocard at a later date and not bottleneck it. Depends on whether this may or may not be likely.

Of the three listed, I would go with the i5 because its easier to upgrade the GPU later on as opposed to the CPU/Motherboard.

The problem with these three options is none of them are worth it, the i5 is the best cpu setup but the 750ti is crap now. the GTX 950 is better but the fx-6300 is the worst cpu of the 3. Not to mention the AMD FX is 4 years old and is a dead platform so spending $600 for any one of these isn't worth it; you would be paying $600 to buy hardware from 4 years ago.

Now I know you didn't ask so feel free to ignore this but here is a build that is considerably better than three above and within your mentioned budget.

Intel Core I5 6400, RX 470 Video Card 4GB & 8GB of Ram with slots to upgrade later.

The i5 6400 is about 7-8% Faster than the i5 4460 and the RX 470 is about Double the performance and vram of the GTX 950. The Fact is those three setups are not worth it, especially when newer, better hardware with double the performance is available. Ultimately its your money and whatever you choose will be your PC so there is no benefit for any of us; you should decide what you want to do but now you have some of the facts.
