I3 6100 with?

Ok so I'm going to get an intel i3 6100 but I'm not sure what gpu to pair up with it for at least 60fps in most games on a budget. I can't spend more than $250 on it and I'm considering a sapphire nitro+ Radeon rx 480, the 4gb version. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on what I should use?

Either 480 or 1060. Maybe 8gb instead?

I would take the Nitro RX 480 any day of the week. It's one of the better RX 480 PCBs if you want to push overclocks and is silent. It's very tall though, it should fit in normal ATX cases but not on slimmer ones.

Just dont make the mistake of getting the stock cooler like i did...

I could use my GPU as a foot warmer if i needed to ;3

The 480 is a great options try and find the 8 GB version if you can it will definetly help later on when games get more demanding. Shall I say "future-proof"

The difference is that you can actually find (one or two) GTX 1060s near the MSRP in the U.S.

If you can find a 480 8GB or 1060 6GB on jet.com to your liking, you can use a promo code for new customers to get 30 dollars off and waive returns. You should easily be able to fit your budget with that discount. The PNY 1060 6GB is usually at MSRP and has a decent cooling solution as well (but there are better for more $$$).
