farcry 3 flickering issue- amd x-fire

farcry 3 has this really bad flickering issue, however its only in fullscreen mode, windowed and borderless are fine, ive tried turning vsync on and it only made the issue worse. I should note i was playing it yesterday at exactly the same settings (fullscreen) and it ran fine.

 

2* r9-280x

4670k stock speeds 

ccc 13.11 

 

anyone now how to fix this?

nvm, it just randomly fixed itself
