When I try to do any weird stuff in windows 10 explorer when right clicking such as setting pics as background or opening zip files, Windows Explorer crashes. In fact, I can't change the background at all. When I do too many things in the control panel, it crashes. Somebody suggested I update Windows 10 and I did, but the problem still persists. I can't reinstall windows as i have no optical drive (i have the oem disk).

I have a 6700k, Strix 1070, 32GB HyperXFury, 120gb ssd HyperXFury and 2tb wd blue
What should i do?
Please Help

Thanks in advance

just reset windows, you don't need to fully reinstall it, windows will automatically just reinstall itself - i'd take a pic of the product key to be safe tho - ive never had to do this yet and i don't know if the product key is needed or not

Reset this PC and it will give you a list. Read it and follow instructions. It will probably make a folder of things you need to reinstall or update. It did when I did mine.

I just got this PC last week so its not that big of a problem

Shit do a clean install then.. If you don't have much on it then back up what you do and do a clean install.

If you are signing in on Microsoft.com then you should be fine but just in case get your Lic. # before you do.
