Windows 8.1 USB not working

I upgraded from windows 8 to windows 8.1, I have a z87 sabertooth motherboard, two GTX 780s, ax1200i power supply, h100i CPU cooler, 4770k processor, two corsair neutron ssd 256Gb, and an NZXT sentry lxe. I had it working on windows 8.1 for a few minutes, but then I restarted, and the USB.Ports stopped working, they work at the bios screen, and I can get into bios, but when I get to the windows loading screen they all shut off, USB 2 and 3, I can unplug the mouse and plug it back in and there is power for like half a second, but everything else won't budge, I unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it still doesn't work

Make sure you have the latest BIOS.

But it looks like a driver conflict? Did you uninstall your anti-virus before upgrading to 8.1?

Yeah, I don't have an antivirus, and I can't update anything, I can only stare at the login screen and go to bios, that's it

I am not seeing anyone with this problem. But it's a bit early.

But it's clear that something went horribly wrong with your USB driver.

I am afraid the only fix is to wipe everything out and re-install clean. There is no "uninstall 8.1".
