Hyper x Cloud headband too tight

Hello everyone,

 

I would appreciate a little help from those of you who know a bit about this headset. I bought it recently and even tho i've put it around the box to stretch,the headband seems very tight and makes the cups press against my tempels so hard they give me a headache after only 30 min of wearing them. 

Should i try to bend the band? Is the metal gonna break if i do that? I was thinking to bend them from the top,where the logo is, but of course i don't want to ruin them. I am so upset about this issue,specially because i find them to be so amazing.

 

P.S.: I've seen another post about this,but as it was so old i figured i should start a new topic..hope i did right

In coming all the jokes. For the band I try bending a bit at a time making sure not to break the inner platic band inside but you shouldn't.

Aham... i thought maybe the headband would also be made of the same metal that i see holding the earcups. What a bummer! Maybe bend the earpads holders? That sounds like a bad idea as well
