My mod mic wasn't working today, checked the cable and noticed it seems to be damaged. Anything I can do to fix it? I already ordered a new one because I don't have another mic but I would like to keep this as a backup or maybe give it to a friend if I can get it working again.

Rip it open, strip back the cable and re solder it to the board. Just remember to burn the coating off the wires if they don't have rubber insulation (most smaller cables like that and headphones have a clear plastic coating)

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige
