Hello!

I'm new to liquid cooling and I'm wondering if the radiator must really be above the pump?

And I think I've been researching too much and now I'm sort of confused about bleeding..

Most people who have my case (Silverstone Raven RV-01) put the radiator vertically outside on the left, but I think that is very ugly, so I really want to mount it down there.. Rad/fan sizings are wrong because I just changed my decision to use this rad: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16112/ex-rad-406/XSPC_EX360_Multiport_Triple_120mm_Low_Profile_Split_Fin_Radiator.html

Here is my rough plan on how the placement and flow will be:

Please let me know if this is still possible! Thanks :)

It doesn't have to be above the pump, that is the reservoir that should be above the pump, but since yours is a hybrid it doesn't really matter.

The reason you would want a large body of liquid above your pump is so that it will never run dry, even if a leak occurs somewhere. Though your problems would be much bigger if a leak did occur, having the reservoir or radiator above the pump is more so an extra safety precaution. It also makes filling the loop easier as it takes less circulation cycles to fill.

@Ghost or @airdeano can probably better explain it.

honestle i have no idea how you are even going to get the watter flowing it could be an idea to just put a pump infront of the rad

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough it will be believed.

Ahh I see I see! Okay, thank you.

Also I read that it's better to go to the rad first?

If I reverse my loop, it will go through my gfx first, and my cpu second.

Will reversing my loop make a big difference?

No. The order of your loop is basically meaningless. What difference there would be, would be negligible. Like, half a degree? Maybe less? So yeah. Pretty meaningless.
