So, I think I've got everything I need minus a GPU block, which I'll get whenever I need it.

Currently, this is the parts list

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004YE9ZYU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=ISU68N3OX8LMS x2

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007P05XL4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=I1M4SJQ48ZR3VR x1

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009L8XE50/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=I6E9LNXKAZFIZ x1

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AGU2SU4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=ITRQN40ERDTEP x1

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A9ZDHX8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=I3RZFV3POJ4L9E x2

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0060861IG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=I2UB8GDONQSVDK x 18

Now this is the part where I run out of knowing what to do.

I was going to get this pumphttp://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ODOKV8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1H888ZM4DHIJ0&coliid=I185YM4DMRILLI

but people said not to get the B one, so I was then going to get this one.

http://www.amazon.com/Swiftech-MCP655TM-Laing-Vario-controller/dp/B001G6S1JY/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1382160065&sr=1-2&keywords=MCP655

Now, I just want to know which one is better, or if there is a better pump.

Now, another part.

I don't know what rads to get, my plan was to get the ones I have there, but I'd just like recommendations.

I need 2 480s

1 240

1 360

If the 360 doesn't fit in the front of the 900D I could replace it with another 240.

Thickness doesn't matter, just needs to fit into my 900D

This was my general loop idea, minus the gpu, because I might not have that, although I will get one eventually.

If there isn't a GPU, the 480 will feed directly into the res.

j5m8Sa0.pngAgain, if there are better rads, tell me.

I'll probably be using Corsair SP120 Performance editions with 7V Adapters, because I don't want to pay 20 dollars per Noctua fan.

If there are better fans, and if they are less than 18 or so dollars, you could recommend them.

Another thing, I'll probably have two SSDs, and two hard drives, and I wonder where I can mount them, after I have all the rads in the system, I can just velcro the SSDs, but what about the hard drives?

Thanks for the help.

Far too many rads but its your money....

Vario is a good choice,it has a big jump in output from 4 (B model)to 5 (Vario max output)

Corsairs are good fans, dont feel bad about them at all.

Frozencpu.com is your friend as is coolingconfigurator.com . SP120 are ok look at gentle typhoons and eloops if you dont want Noctuas. You don't need that many rads for just a cpu/gpu if its a single gpu a 360 or a 480 will be fine by itself (120 for each component plus 120 overhead). What reservoir are you using. For the pump it doesn't need to be the MCP655, any D5 type pump will do (655 is just the swiftech rebrand of it).

this is the res

Atm I'll only be doing 1GPU, but I will be getting two later on.

Reasoning on the res is because it has the flexible fitting options, so I can add a drain for it, and I like the way it looks.

I was going to have the input on the side, and the output on the bottom.

I only really got this many because I wanted to push the overclock as high as possible, if it really doesn't make that much of a difference, I guess I could remove some.

It doesn't matter, 360 or 480 is more than enough overhead (by far) for even extreme overclocking, to push your chip anymore you have to go to exotic cooling (tec, peltier, LN2, etc). That res is fine, look at frozencpu there are many others in that style, pick the one you like. Also if you save on rads you can upgrade the fans to Noctuas.

Would you recommend to keep two rads? I was thinking maybe both 480s, or maybe a 480 and a 360?

I'll check on Frozencpu to see if there are other res' I like.

You can but why. It will gain you nothing. Even if you add a second GPU a single 480 would be enough. If you just want to fill the case then go for it but there really isn't a reason to have that much overhead, its diminishing marginal returns. I usually buy all my water cooling stuff from frozencpu as they have a good reputation, a huge selection and the few times Ive had an issue their customer service can actually help you (they know their water cooling) but price check with amazon and maybe performance-pcs.com . When you build your loop the order doesn't matter except that you MUST have the reservoir before/above the pump so the pump never goes dry, also don't use mayhems aurora coolant (its a show coolant not for long term use).

Was just going to get Distilled water and colored tubing.

Alright, thanks, I'll get just the single 480.

Make sure you get a silver kill coil to keep the algae and bacterial growth in check, just put it in your res and replace it a every ~6-8 months (its like $6) you can buy one at fronzencpu. Also remember that if you add another GPU or motherboard block you are going to need to dismantle you loop anyway so if you want to add another rad its not like its any more work. You should take some pics and post them in the build logs section, Id love to see how this turns out.

Alrighty, I will, it'll still probably be a few months or so, as I'm waiting to see what Nvidia releases next, but I'll be sure to tag you in it then.

They announced today the 780ti, should show up in November. No benchmarks on it yet, will be interesting to see the R9 290x vs 780ti, vs the Titan.

Yeah, I heard.

Is there a specific rad thickness?

I was thinking about either the XT45 480 or the UT60 480 from Alphacool

Thicker is better (more surface area = more heat transfer) however thicker rads need more powerful fans. You can always go push pull on fans but its not that much of a performance gain and it makes it a b*tch to clean the rad. Even at a 60mm rad single fans should be fine as long as they are quality and static pressure optimized. If you go up to 80mm thick rads you will definitely need to go push pull.

Noctuas are significantly better (I upgraded from SP120 quiet editions to NF-F12 fans). Better cooling and significantly quieter. Get this http://www.frozencpu.com/products/20988/ele-1196/Swiftech_8-Way_PWM_Cable_Splitter_-_SATA_Power_8W-PWM-SPL-ST.html to control all your fans. Just plug the pwm monitor into your cpu fan header and your good to go. You might have to disable the alarm in your BIOS the fans are are so good the usually spin at very low RPMs and the BIOS thinks they are failing.

Another question, I'll be buying more than just the rad fans, so I can replace most of the not visible case fans with them(Jesus they look horrid) so I was thinking about using the top as a exhaust, and putting the fans on the side of the Rad closest to the case, main reason is one of the videos from linus quiet a while ago showed the Cat hair mixture that was all over his h100, and I just really want that to happen.

I don't really have a pet that sheds a whole lot, just a few dogs that almost never shed, do you think it'd be an issue?

I have all intakes covered with Demciflex Magnetic Fan Filters (frozencpu or their website), usually you want the fans to pull the air through the rad as opposed to pushing it though as this makes it easier to clean the rad. If you have a rad up top make it an exhaust as this works with normal heat flow (heat rises). In general you want positive pressure in case (more air in than out) as this helps keep dust out (counter intuitive, I know). Don't put filters on your exhausts as it traps dust and heat in the case. I am fairly OC about dust so I clean my filters (run under water and dry well) and case (caned air, or in my case an air compressor) every 2 weeks). If the fans aren't for rads you can get away with airflow fans over static pressure, another way to go is to get Noctua NF-A14 fans these are 140mm fans and work great as case fans or radiator fans (rads need to be 140/280/420). Hope this helps.
