remote keyboard for tv

Hello!

my friend wants a mini wireless keyboard for his tv in the livingroom as a remote to his computer. he has a stationary computer in his room that is connect to the tv by an optic cable which goes under the floor(he did this thing 7 years ago while renovating the house).

the problem is if i connect the wireless keyboard to the computer with bluetooth or 2.4Ghz dongle it wont work... the computer is too far away from the tv. it will be nice to connect with wifi but i didn't find such devices. and he want a physical keyboard. what can we do?

afaik, there isnt a keyboard that works by wifi... it's all bluetooth.

Get a usb extender cable.
