Pure Wings 2 140 & 120mm (Air 540)

LocoDiceGR

Hello guys,

I Just ordered 3x 140mm to replace the stock fans on Corsair Air 540 and 1x120 for my cpu cooler,

I have 2 question's,

1) Did i do the right thing for a silent (My main goal) / budget system?

2) Do i need anti-vibrations to replace the screws? is it better?

I know silent wings would be better choise but they are expensive. lol.

PW2's are hard to go wrong with and are very quiet. Rubber mounts can help reduce vibration but aren't necessary for a quiet system.

Cool, cool, i was very sceptical...lots of fans out there, i am very confused

but i went ''safe way'' on be quiet!

The stock fans on Air 540 are to loud for my taste...i will even change my 2 old hdd's with 1tb 5400 rpm (for low noise).

The purewings2 I bought a couple weeks ago now came with isolation mounts so you should be fine.

hmm? they change the package? I only see some screws in the reviews on the internet...

Thats cool, i hope they isolation mounts are in!!!

Edit: I just asked them on twitter they said they dont have isolation mounts included. lol
