GPU temps?

Hey guys!

I fired up my PC today, and opened up CAM (an application where you can overclock, and it says CPU/GPU temps and load), and saw that my GPU was at 59 degrees! My GPU is at about 55-60 degrees Celsius while idle. I have tried updating my drivers, and restarted my PC, closed all other applications except CAM, but the temps are still that high. While under load, the GPU goes to about 65 degrees which is normal. I have a MSI GTX 970 by the way.

The card is not being overclocked at the moment, and my build is in a coolermaster mastercase pro 5. I do not know what to do... My CPU is at 21 degrees idle..  (good thing). 

Any suggestions on why my GPU is acting up today? Just yesterday it was at about 25 degrees idle. So I highly doubt it is dust.

Just don't go above 87C

25 on idle is watercooling terratory, my msi 980 runs @ 50 on idle.

 

Maybe it was colder or you had the window open yesterday?

normal temps, when a ran my 970 i let it get it up to 80c.
