Will gtx 1070 will be run slower if PCIe slot is only 2.0 not 3.0 ?

Second question ..If i buy m.2 pcie adapter ..will samsung 950pro or sM 951ssd run on slower speed on second pcie slot? ..I want install i7 3700K CPU.

I read there is UEFI mod for BIOS on win-raid forum  Intel Chipset systems 6-Series up

No, the 1070 won't run slower since 16x PCIe 2.0 is equivalent to PCIe 3.0 x8 and you don't lose performance at that level.

The M.2 adapter will probably work with a SATA drive, but but not work at all with NVMe (because you likely dont have NVMe support in BIOS.)

there is Guide How to get full NVMe support for Intel Chipset systems from 6-Series up in winraid forum to add nwme module inside bios..need read or ask there.

Yes, NVMe support is possible, but you won't be able to use an NVMe drive as a boot drive. Just storage.

I have an Asus SABERTOOTH P67 motherboard. My questions is if this motherboard support booting from NVMe if I modify the BIOS.

I am pretty sure, that the answer is: "Yes!"
According to my knowledge and own experience the method, which I have explained wthin the start post of this thread, will work with all Intel chipset systems, whose mainboard has an AMI UEFI BIOS.

Hello. I have the same motherboard. Which of the connectors are you using with the boot disk?
PCIe 2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8)
PCIe 2.0 x1
PCI
I have an NVME but it is not the Samsung PRO. Could you tell me if it would work too?
I am thinking of buying this adapter.
