Frosted Color Coolant?

carsonwen

Not really sure if this exists as I personally have not seen it. But I am wondering if there is some kind of semi clear color. Like a frosted color. Kind of looks like slush i guess.

I was planning to add opaque white to my transparent red coolant, though now that i think about it, it would just make it pink. Maybe opaque red + transparent red mix?

if you want it to be red maybe a pastel red and a transparent red from the same company, if not a pastel and distilled water would make it kind of see through. honestly with red i wouldn't mix coolants or change the measurements since red always seems to have issues in the first place.

Get a bunch of samples from mayhems and try mixing them to get what you like, then buy bottles of the stuff you  choose.

I ended up mixing some mayhem pastel white concentrate into my aquacomputer DP ultra red.

Just a few drops, it made is slightly cloudy, and glows in the lighting much better. Also didnt make it pink as i expected, still very red.

It also seems to have some kind of effect similar to the aurora coolant, its like a shampoo effect. This is even after ive left the pump running full speed for 2 days, so im guessing its permanent. Pretty nice as its quite subtle but still noticeable, while being a transparent coolant.

below is a video of this. The camera sucks at capturing it with all the light, but you can sort of see it.
