Hello guys, im going to buy a new CPU and Motherboard and now im questioning what RAM i should get. I got a MSI 7978-014R Gaming M3 Intel B150 S1151 retail Motherboard (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B014QPFJB4/?tag=pcp05-21)

and a I7-6700 CPU.

Is every DDR4 RAM ok with this board or are there other things i need to know?

My budget for Ram is only 40€, could you suggest anything?

Brands don't matter when it comes to RAM. And in your case, neither do the specs, for you've got yourself a non OCing mobo.

 

You can literally just pick the cheapest kit you can find.

Perfect! So ill stick with my old DDR3 RAM till i got the money to afford a better one.

No no no, you have to have DDR4 since the mobo only supports that. Speeds don't really matter much, but it at least has to be DDR4.

yup, DDR4 slots ONLY, so DDR3 RAM will not even seat.
