So I'm building my first rig ever and have been planning this one for months, doing a lot of reading/watching and have finally mostly decided on the parts. Firstly let's get the post guide out of the way.

1. Budget & Location

Location is Pakistan, but I will be getting most of the parts from the US, probably ordering from Amazon. Big parts like the chasis will be bought in Pakistan however. Budget is 2000$ well it's 2500$ but 500 go into a solid UPS backup.

2. Aim

Gaming, Graphic Design work, Development work (This includes running VM's etc for testing)

3. Monitors

Currently Just 1 Monitor at the standard 1080p 144hz. Plan to upgrade in the future to multiple monitors.

4. Peripherals

Already have Keyboard/mouse as well as speakers, will be buying Win 10 Pro.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Not upgrading but building my first PC because I'm tired of laptops garbage performance

This is my current build.

The build is totaling up to about 1800$ without a monitor so price wise this is pretty much in line with what I want.

Now down to the issue I'm having.

First I'm struggling to choose between the 750D AirFlow  and the Air 540. Due to the fact that I have to buy the case in Pakistan I'm pretty much restricted to these cases. However feel free to suggest other options from major manufacturers and I'll check on their availability.

Secondly I'm worried about the Cooler, the NH-D15 is huge and I cannot figure out how restricting it will be. The Noctua site states it's compatible with the Maximus VIII Hero and the general opinion of people I found on the internet is that it will fit both the Air 540 and the 750D. But the Issue is the Ram clearance, I have absolutely no clue if my GSkillz RipJaws V will fit under the cooler. If I either have to remove one fan or move it further up, will the cooler then fit the case?

I want this cooler because firstly I don't want liquid cooling and because I really want good cooling. where I live temp go upto 50 Degrees Celsius in the summer. I would obviously be putting this into an Air conditioned room but still pointless to cheap out on such an important aspect of the build.

These questions are some that I'm trying to find answers to but struggling quite severely. Also just as a note I'll probably be purchasing these parts late November[looking for deals] as I can only get them in December so pointless to purchase before that. I know that a long way to go but I'm super excited and have spent countless hours watching and reading content regarding the build or just general putting a PC together. Really hoping you guys can be of some help.

What about a all in one liquid cooler(Corsair H100i v2) then you don't need to worry about the ram height plus it would give a little more to the overclocking of the system

A lot of people have tried to convince me about them but I'm just super paranoid about them so no go for me.

I'm guessing you mean buying a Windows 7/8 OEM key and then upgrading it to 10. That's actually a really nice idea xD
