I want to go back to a retail version of Windows 10. I currently have an Insider Build (Version 1607) and I want to remove it. I have looked through the Microsoft help website but I had no luck with any option that they gave me. I tried doing a system restore but that didn't work.

What should I do to go back to a retail version of Windows 10? I don't want to have to put any CD key in or anything because I do not know where it is. I just want to press a button and go back to a normal version of windows if possible.

Thanks in advance, Dimitris

I think you might need to do clean install. Since you are with Insider program, do you even have key? Isn't it like activated with your MS account? (You might want to rename title to more descriptive, like Insider to normal Win10 help)

I believe you have to deactivate it in your Microsoft account, create a USB install drive, and then go through the usual steps. If you don't deactivate it, Windows Update will cross-reference your account to the inside updates... don't want that.
