So how much can $700 in Canadian for a PC?

MrWorldBerg

Wondering, how much you can get with $700 dollars for a custom Gaming Rig? Remember that it has to be $700 Canadian!

You can get a good rig, not a pretty great rig. That would be 2000$ Canadian xD, unless you want refurbished parts.

You know a 470 with overclocking is a bit under a 480? It's perfect for 1080p ultra gaming.

Thats a good build nonetheless, not a great one. I said good for 1080p, not good for 1440p. I dunno what resolution he wants to play on, he didnt mention, but we can only assume he already has a decent monitor. And an overclocked RX 480 is pretty hard to get, unless you apply a 110$ watercooling block from EK. An overclocked 470 might be possible, but its gonna be minimal.

Though I would probably save $50-70 and throw it at a better CPU.

There is a $20 MIR on the PSU (and $25 on the mobo), though I didn't include that in the price.

May Our Framerates Be High And Our Temperatures Be Low.

PSUs: EVGA B2/G2/GQ/GS, Corsair RMx/i, Grey-Label CXM, Everything Seasonic/Delta/Super Flower, XFX except XT
