Posted this yesterday, got ignored, hopefully someone helps this time. Anyone, here is a copy paste of what I wrote yesterday (the problem is still occurring today):

Hi guys, lets set the scene.

Step 1: Open file explorer (everything normal)

Step 2: Open folder in the side panel

Step 3: Open folder within that folder

Step 4: 1 - 3 instances of that folder open in new windows, and the original window remains untouched

Anyone know why this is happening?

Anyway, thanks for any help I get!

You can always bump to keep your post coming back in the recent lists.

Anyway if I understand correctly, all your actions in explorer opens a new window, similar like a action with multiple tabs in your browser? If yes, you should go to explorer options and see if the option is on for opening new window on action. Not entirely sure how it's described in English since my OS is on NL.

Hey, just discovered that the glitch only occurs when I open a folder within the 'Pictures' (default) folder. What do you think? and I cant find the settings menu in here?

update: just found the setting, it's ticked to "open folder in same window", so don't know what the glitch could be.
