Corsair HD120 software

I bought those fancy looking RGB fans from corsair, but i can't controll the lights via software. I used corsair link as this guy in the video said at 02:04 .

It requires a controller for the RGB version of the LED fans they do not work directly on their own.

Thanks for the quick reply! But corsair also sells HD120 fans without controllers and that guy from corsair said there will be an option in corsair link in the future and there is indeed an option in corsair link that has to do with RGB lights on fans and i believe the HD and the SP are the only RGB fans from corsair.

Also currently they are lighting up in white without me doing anything.

It depends how your connecting them up  to be controlled via Corsair Link but they must use a controller of some sort for the RGB fans as it cannot be simply controlled over just the single 4 pin, it requires an extra line out for RGB lighting control.

It has 2x 4 pins and i plugged both in. One into sys fan 1 and the other one into sys fan 2.

There is only one 4 pin connector the second set is not your regular 4 pin fan connector but a mini molex type for the RGB control:

Those also require a controller, as of currently there is no software based RGB controllable fan that I know of but Corsair could implement it fairly easily into their Corsair Link system if one purchases a Commander mini but nothing on it yet.

They have a software to controll it. See here: http://www.thermaltake.com/MICROSITE/Riing12RGBRadiatorFanTTPremiumEdition/index.html#3rd

Ah ok, that's pretty nice then, when I first saw them come out it was just a controller like the Corsair ones that had three buttons for different colors modes and speeds.
