Hello people! I'm trying to go for a black and white build. Here's my PC at the moment: http://imgur.com/aeEHTcb

Plans:
Replace RAM with Corsair Dominator Platinums
Activate white LED on GPU (currently disabled because no window side-panel)

Replace all cables with custom black&white cables, sleeves etc...

I also want to do something with the yellow color on the PSU. I don't want to spray paint on the PSU, but was thinking of white stickers?
What do you think of my plans? Do you have any more suggestions for a better black & white build? Thanks :)

Main:  1650 v2   @ 4,6GHz   -   X79 Deluxe                -   GTX 1080 @ 2000MHz   -   24GB DDR3 @ 2400MHz / CL10

Side:   i7-4790K @ 4,5GHz   -   Maximus 7 Hero        -   GTX 1070 @ 2114MHz    -  16GB DDR3 @ 2666MHz / CL12

Plastidip. It is usable like spray paint, but is able to be peeled off when you're tired of it. You could apply it to your motherboard heatsinks as well if you want. You could then get some black plastidip and spray it onto all that ketchup and mustard you got going on your cables (but if you're going to be getting custom cables then that seems pointless haha)

Dominators are cool, but really expensive. up to you if you think that is worth it (there are other options). You could also replace your CPU cooler with a Cryorig H7 for more black and white awesomeness

Regarding the plasti dip; Would it damage the cables / PSU if sprayed over? I'm kinda nervous about this.

Do you have other suggestions for RAM that would match the color scheme?

That CPU fan looks amazing, but doesn't fit my build :(

Can't do just black/white build. Need to do triple color them of black/white/gold

Guess you have a point. Any recommendations on what to do / what I should change?

Just plastidip the ram white so it matches with your case and GPU's LED. Or into yellow so it goes with your board. And your GPU matches with your case.

What CPU cooler do you have? It looked like a Hyper 212 EVO (correct me if i'm wrong) and the 212 EVO is larger than the H7.the H7 should fit pretty much every build as it is only 145mm tall, and it does not overhang RAM slots in any way.

You could go with RAM that looks like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2Zg323/kingston-memory-hx316c10fb4

Get whatever capacity and speeds you want, but its primarily black with white lettering and should look good. gonna be a lot cheaper than Dominators. You could also use plastidip on your RAM to make it whatever colours you want

Plastidip will not damage your cables or your PSU. Its basically spray on rubber (I'm not sure the exact material, but it looks like matte paint when its done). Its not electrically conductive, and can peel off when you get tired of the look and want to do a new colour or resell it. There are plenty of videos on plastidip on youtube if you're curious about this possibility.

The only concern you need worry about with plastidip is to not spray it onto components that get very hot as plastidip can act a little like an insulator. You don't want to insulate certain components (as well, i'm not sure what the heat limit is on plastidip, but in theory you could cause it to break down by heating it up too much). But you can "dip" pretty much anything in a computer. You can certainly dip any plastic parts (such as GPU shrouds) or any decorative parts (such as backplates, motherboard heatsinks, RAM and its heatsinks, PSU shrouds, and so on) The only things you need worry about is dipping things that get too hot. you don't want to dip a motherboard or GPU PCB because there are parts of it that will get too hot. You don't want to dip GPU or CPU heatsinks because you will insulate them and they will not be able to disperse heat well enough (motherboard and RAM heatsinks are okay because they don't really generate much heat anyway). You can also dip RAM without heatsinks if you want since its non-conductive and RAM doesn't typically get warm enough to worry about it. You should not dip connectors such as DIMM slots, PCIe slots, and the connectors that go into said slots as that can interfere with their operation.

But no, largely speaking plastidip is the go-to material for modders everywhere who want to add some flair to their PC with a no risk/high reward material. At the end of the day you can always remove it if you feel you don't like it or want it.
