So I recently got the Windows 10 Anniversary update, unfortunately I am now having extreme fps issues, I used to get 60fps on very simple and easy to run games, now I usually get 15-30fps generally and about 6fps at its worst.

I have turned off the Xbox dvr and nothing changed.

I'm Running a GTX 750ti, i7 860 2.8ghz and 16gb RAM

I also have a friend with higher specs than mine, also having the same issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

DPC Latency.

Windows 10 is actually a bit better in terms of gaming performance, it's just that it cripples itself very easily which results in broken and corrupt components that result in excessive processor time usage which has a negative impact on application performance.

Try updating gpu drivers.

I updated them yesterday evening.

Update: For some strange reason I get 3-20fps loading No Mans Sky, but I get 45fps in game.

Yet in a very simple low end game like Cubic Castles or TeeWorlds I get around 15fps.

Can you recheck about disabling DVR because that fixed worked for almost 95% Win 10 Users.

Anything else running in the background?

Have you restarted the PC since disabling it? I had an unrelated DVR issue that wasnt fixed until I disable dvr and restarted.
