help with a new build

First things first this is not my first gaming build but i am building it for a friend so i wanted help as not to give him any bad advise.

This build needs everything from the case to components to peripherals, not even sure he has a OS. He told me his budget is around 500 to 1000 quid or $650-$1300 dollars as its been a while since i built mine not really sure what the best or around that is anymore thanks for any and all advise.

I would say this, decent keyboard/mouse (not including monitor) it's just over 1k with a 6600k so he can overclock, 8gb RAM, 1060, and 275GB SSD/1TB HDD.
