I want to update my BIOS but i have verry little knowledge on the subject and i'm scared that i might brick the bios.

How do i update my bios and how can i do it the most easy and safe way?

I also have no idea what BIOS files i should download and use.

Can I ask why do you want to update your bios. If its fine then you dont need to flash it and update it. If you need to update then it will be on your motherboards website with the latest updates etc.

A menace to the scammer world. They hate me wasting their time when they are conning the innocent and giving to the idiots.

Most modern systems I am aware of have a pretty straight forward bios update process.  You should be able to download the most current version from the vendor and run it from inside of your OS.  When you go to the vendor page (The folks that made your motherboard) there should be a list of bios updates, along with what changes those updates include.

Check the features before you apply the update to be sure it;s something you need.  Just because it's easy doesn't mean it's without risk.  If you loose power during a bios update your board may end up as a paperweight.

I want to flash the BIOS because 1: The CPU has a bug where the fequenzy goes down to 1.17 GHz sometimes while under load. This is currently fixed by having some settings in a program called Throttlestop.

My second main reason is because after buying my new graphics card (From 675m to 870m) I'm getting horizontal screen tearing with Vsync of and i believe that a bios update might solve it.

First the standard CYA Message.  I am not responsible for any emotional or technical failures you experience.  I'm also sure the owners of this fine forum shouldn't be and won't be held responsible for any problems.

Moving along....

Those look like mobile parts.  Can I ask what model machine you have?  More data is better.

Also, looking at what you linked, it's on the second page of results, it's the last result even...

...Just... Wow...

Instead of arguing answer me this: Could flashing bios fix my tearing issue that apeared after switching to a newer graphics card?
