Where can we buy and what name should I be searching for a casing caddy that makes my 2.5 SAS (not SATA) SSD fit in a 3.5 SAS slot. I have a poweredge 2950 that I need to put SSD on to better my experience with VM's.

No They are not. The caddy that fits into the server is for 3.5 and i couldn't find 3.5 ssd so i bought the 2.5 ssd.

not what I meant

since there are 2.5" SSD adapters to 3.5" can't you use those?!

 

there seem to be no 2.5" drive caddy for poweredge 2950

The only adapters i can find in amazon or ebay are 2.5 SATA SSD to 3.5 SAS. I need 2.5 SAS SSD to 3.5 SAS. Any ideas?
