Can i remove this false drive

i got this hidden drive labeled D: im assming its the drive that windows was installed off of because i used a bootable usb to insatall windows but can i remove this drive without causing problems to my computer

This may seem like a stupid question but do you have a usb conected?

no if i plug in  a usb its a diffrent drive letter

First off, what kind of machine is this? If its a laptop or a desktop with a card reader, this is just showing the card reader as a blank drive.

its a desktop i got 1 HDD and 1 optical drive thats it you can see that they are both being showed up
