Logitech g402 scroll wheel rubber has become misaligned

The other day I was using my logitech g402 hyperion fury mouse, and I'd noticed that the rubber on the scroll wheel had become misaligned. This wasn't a problem until today where the rubber has further come out of place meaning that the wheel is near enough unscrollable. Is there a way I can just slot it back into place?

unfortunately I can't. Got it as a BDay present about a year and a half ago. receipts and documentation has been long thrown away.
