Mini Itx Xeon build questions

atiq666

hello guys!

So I was thinking is it possible to build a mini Itx machine using xeon processors?

I couldnt find much mini itx motherboards that supports xeon processors.

I have only found Xeon E3-1231 that supports mini itx boards, do you know any other CPU and Motherboards that fill fit inside a mini itx case?

Also I don't mind if the processor is old.

Thanks!!

You can. For instance, the Xeon 1231 v3 can work with H81, B85, H97 and Z97 motherboards.

Just know that Skylake works differently since Xeons aren't supported on consumer chipsets anymore.
