Might need i7 4790k since 1080 might be too much and i5 could bottleneck but for 4K you will be fine

970 doesn't pull latest titles at 4K though

Why switch to 4K tho, 1080p is really fine. Your 4690k May bottleneck a 1080 too.

Some people can notice the difference.

Don't think the 4690K would be much of a issue at 4K, it gets more GPU bound at that resolution. CPU upgrade can come later.

I can play bf4 at 2160 60 hrz but on low or medium to be able to get 50 to 60 fps as I said I've never overclocked anything but I use after burner to increase power limit temperature limit  and fan speeds that gives me some extra fps

Yes, some of us do at least I do,

I'll see how it works when I get the 1080 I'm just waiting for blackfriday or cyber Monday deals to get it at a reasonable price

The green LED + RED fans + yellow bottom crash with each other really hard. It would look fine if the 970 had a red LED instead.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

why 4k? stick with 1080p.... the 970 will struggle at 4k.

and if you're going GTX 1080, at least get a 1440p monitor (who uses a TV as a monitor anyway?)

Yes I didn't notice the led until I plugged everything I though I was going to be able to change the color but I wasn't,  anyway 1080 would be msi so that red color will be there.

Sounds reasonable the only problem is that I can't place the pc somewhere else (small aprtment) plus I've always liked to play on big screens that's why I use my tv we have 65" right there

Gaming on a TV is awful, you get tonnes of input lag.

I didn't know that. I thought it was the same since the image quality was pretty good
