ok my printer died so a friend of mine gave me his old printer for free :) yeah !

 

but when i print .... the printer works but the page comes out blank ..

 

printer is HP Officejet 4355

 

CPU: Fx 8350 | CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Now  AMD STOCK CPU COOLER | Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 (rev 1.1)   NOW MSI 990FXA-GD80 | Ram: Corsair Vengence 8GB DDR3 Motherboard detects 7gb for some weird reason | Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 |  HDD: 1 TB samsung

so lucky man! i have no friend like that! :)  :(

but if my friend gave that printer,then definitely i or anyone wouldn't want a free product as it will not work! :P

UPDATE he brought another printer it is hp office jet j3068

 

both of these printers were sitting around in his home for around a year or two ... and both of these used to work ...

did you try test pages? idk what is it but a man had came to do it with my printer!

Did you install the drivers correctly? If you did, did you reboot?

windows 8 automatically installed drivers ... still searching for proper ones though

be sure to reboot after installing, and unplug and re plug the printer it's power too.

Does anyone even use PCIe SSDs?

did you keep your papers in humid region? since the serviceman had told me neither you should keep your paper in humid region nor your printer. so i always keep it covered!

well i always covered my printer but these came to me without cover and were pretty dusty though its still free and both are all in one :) i don’t really care

does "all in one" mean that you can scan,xerox and print in the same printer? does this printer support that?looks amazing! i have a hp deskjet... and an inkjet. and my father has a dot matrix printer for his work!(don't know why i'm mentioning it here though!)

If the printer has a screen on it, try going into the menu and see if it has something like 'print test page' and see if that works. Then try to delete windows 8 drivers and download the latest from their website. Make sure to restart the PC.
