Don't you want to set your sights a little higher? There are a couple of issues I see:

  • Students get hired by companies like IBM but not that often. They boast about it but there are maybe 2 or 3 students a year that go into these prestigious compaines. Good universities don't usually boast on their website about these companies because you assume that students just go to them.
  • You'll have no summer, the course is year-round although it is only 3 years so you may end up with less debt.
  • It's in the suburbs not the city so getting around will cost you. Make sure you go there and check out the location before attending.
  • Looking at the sex ratio, 331 males to 37 females, chances are you'll have a shit sex life (unless you're female).
  • The number of students is indicative of the lack of prestige from this university, as is the fact it was only founded in 2003. Your degree won't have the same impact a degree from a long-established university will have.
  • It's a for-profit university so your student loans are probably ultimately going into the pockets of a CEO somewhere.
  • There are no postgraduate courses, again, a sign that this isn't a good university. In the UK, to be called a university you have to offer postgraduate degrees.
  • 90% of the students get a grant or scholarship meaning that they definitely want you (likely to make more money off you). And that your education is worth less than your tuition fee minus the grant they're giving you.

Hmm thank you for telling me this. I think I'll look into more colleges.
